Terms and Conditions

Payment 

The cost of buying models and 50% of the commission cost is required up front as a deposit. 

 

On completion of the commission to the client's requirements, the client will have 30 days to pay the remainder of the balance before the models are released to them. 

 

On a case-by-case basis we will accept payment in instalments over a longer period, but will not release models until the full payment has been made. 

 

While we will be understanding when clients contact us to request additional time to settle accounts, we reserve the right to retain deposits and sell unpaid for models to third parties to recoup the costs incurred in the commission.

 

Payment will be taken through Paypal or bank transfer.

Photography, Videography and Use of Pictures

 

By commissioning Culloden Painting Studio you agree that any photographs or videos of the miniatures taken during the commission can be used for promotion and publication on the internet and other media.

Postage and Customs Charges

 

Clients are responsible for the cost of postage and any customs charges both when sending and receiving models to and from us, and it is recommended that clients use express shipping with tracking and appropriate insurance when sending models to Culloden Painting Studio. This should protect clients against loss of items during transit. We will send models within the UK with the Royal Mail or Parcelforce using “Special Delivery” or “Express 24” with appropriate insurance. For overseas clients we will use Royal Mail or Parcelforce “International Tracked and Signed” or “Global Express” with appropriate insurance. Regrettably, customs charges may be levied against international clients, and clients will be responsible for paying these import fees.
